If You Are The Mosque Caretaker

Be grateful because Allah has created you as a mosque caretaker. Serve to Allah, serve to pilgrims, and serve for all moslems. Every inch of mosque will be a witness that you clean it up every day. Because of you, the pilgrims could pray in calmness. Because of you, Islamic study runs well. and be grateful because you’ve got rewards which cannot be acquired by the others except the mosque caretaker.

Intent your existence in mosques and become the true worshipper of Allah. With his bless, you hope the abundance of rewards upon him. Purify your intention only for Allah. And always remember that the place, which you always take care of it, is Baitullah. The moslems place to pray, and the moslems place to sole trust upon our Lord.

Fulfill your obligation as well as you can. Just consider it as a trust of Allah for you and it is not the trust which is given by the mosque manager. If someday you complain and envy because there are the other mosque caretakers who don’t fulfill their obligations but they enjoy more facilities. Don’t let this thing lower your spirit. Every one wants to do what she/he wants but all the consideration is belong to Allah. This is where your sincerity being tested. This is where your intention being proven whether you commit to handle the trust of Allah or not. If someday you give up because one of the other mosque caretakers doesn’t finish his work off and your spirit decreases because of it. After that, you join them in the laziness. Make sure and remember that your intention is shifted from the right way. 

Keep it back into the right way. The way for the only Allah Azza wa Jalla 

My brothers, remember about the story of the black skinned woman who committed to take care the mosque when Rasulullah is still alive. She is Ummu Mihjan.

One day Rasulullah didn’t see Ummu Mihjan again. Then, He asked to his followers,

“Where is she ?” Said Rasulullah

“She is already died Oo Rasulullah” Said his followers

“Why don’t you tell me ?” Said Rasulullah

Then, he went out to the burial ground of Ummu Mihjan and he led sholat jenazah. Then, he prayed for her.
( Hadist of Bukhari ) 

Remember my brothers, Rasulullah glorified her. He, the messenger of Allah, glorified Baitullah caretaker.

May Allah always glorify your loyalty in His mosques.
